Information collection

Membership is obtained by filling in the registration form on the Theadwars website. We ask you for a valid email address, your full name, your residing town, and ask you to enter a password to access the members section of the site. When registering, there is also the option to receive information from Threadwars which includes notice of any changes or additions to the service. You are able to subscribe or unsubscribe to this information at any time.

Third Parties

Threadwars are totally committed to protecting the privacy of our site visitors and customers. We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties except where it is a necessary part of providing a service to you - e.g. Arranging for a product to be sent to you.

As a matter of policy, Threadwars will never sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

We may, from time to time, incorporate internet advertising from other companies into the website. Threadwars can provide anonymised demographic information provided by Members to these companies in order to target any such advertising effectively.

For purposes described in this policy, Threadwars has the option to share data supplied by members, or supplemental demographic information acquired by us, with our parent, affiliates, subsidiaries and joint ventures. If any or all of the assets of which Threadwars forms a part are acquired by another company or any third party, we may transfer personal data we then hold to that company or third party.

For security, we use username and password protection for members information. Customer information on our database is secured internally by Threadwars and by our Internet service provider.

Members are responsible for ensuring against the use of the Threadwars service, by anyone other than themselves using their username and password. Members are required to keep their password secure from others and to log off from the Threadwars website at the end of each session.

General

Members can have their details removed from Threadwars at any time. This can be done by sending an email to help@threadwars.com including the same email address you used to set up your account.

We also make provision for members to opt-out of receiving information from us, which members have previously opted to receive. This opt-out can be achieved by following the appropriate link on My Account after logging on to the website.

Threadwars will comply with any legally made request by third parties for the disclosure of member’s personal information.

Threadwars may log your IP address. This is to assists us in site administration and when tracing any problems with our servers.
